I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University. My clinical training has included providing psychotherapy for individuals in hospital settings, such as the McGill University Health Center (MUHC), Centre for CBT Research, Training, and Intervention, Douglas Mental Health Institute Eating Disorders Clinic, as well as in private practice and at the Applied Psychology Centre at Concordia University. Through these placements I have gained experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosis, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, and relationship issues, among others. Regardless of the presentation, I am passionate about helping people regain an inner sense of peace with themselves and connectedness with the world.
At Harmony Clinic, I work under the supervision of Dr. Zofia Czajkowska. My style as a therapist is collaborative, open, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a comfortable environment in which you feel accepted and supported so that we can work together towards your personal definition of wellbeing. In working with me, you can expect to cultivate curiosity, self-awareness, understanding, and self-compassion, which I believe form the foundation for lasting change and growth. To this end, I generally adopt an integrative approach to psychotherapy, drawing on strategies and tools from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based therapies to accommodate the unique needs and strengths of the individual.
