Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply feeling that something is not working the way you’d like. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, so I’d like to tell you a little about how I work.
I am a licensed psychologist and a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. I completed my MSc in Psychology in Sweden in 2010 and have lived and worked in Montreal since 2015.
I provide individual therapy for adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, burnout, and life transitions or crises. My approach is primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor therapy to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals, recognizing that there is no single approach that works for everyone.
In therapy, I aim to understand the unique factors contributing to your current difficulties rather than focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses. I value collaboration and curiosity, and I work with clients to develop a shared understanding of their experiences while identifying practical strategies that support meaningful change.
I offer therapy in English and Swedish and provide in-person as well as virtual sessions for adults living in Québec.
