I am a Psy.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology at the Université de Sherbrooke, where my research focuses on the close relationships between people and artworks (paintings, music, literature, etc.), which I analyze through the lens of attachment theory. I completed my Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology at the University of Manitoba in 2021, after which I moved to Quebec to complete my doctorate. My previous clinical experiences include working at the Center of Psychological Intervention at the l’Université de Sherbrooke, where I provided psychotherapy for individuals and couples. Under the clinical supervision of Dr. Zofia Czajkowska, I offer psychotherapy for individuals and couples who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, or past experiences.
Central to my practice is a commitment to fostering an environment, in which therapy clients feel safe, respected, and deeply understood. Together we explore the client’s current life situation, personal history and goals for the future. I help people build insight and integrate tools to support new ways of coping with stress and being in the world.
As a francophone who has lived in a linguistic minority, I recognize how vital it is for clients to access services in their native language. I strive to offer high-quality psychotherapy in both English and French, with a mindful awareness of how culture, language, and systemic factors shape individual experience.
