I am currently pursuing a PhD in psychology at UQAM and I am registered as a practicing doctoral candidate with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. I previously obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in psychiatry from McGill University. I have clinical training from the McGill University Health Center (MUHC) Anxiety Disorders program, FEPP clinic (First Episode of Psychosis Program), and Consultation Liaison service at the Royal Victoria Hospital (helping patients cope with difficult health situations). I have also received training from the Critical Illness Recovery Center at the Montreal General Hospital, working with patients who underwent long ICU hospitalizations. I’m passionate about helping people navigate challenging times, gain self-awareness, and regain meaning and fulfillment in their lives. My commitment to my work drives me to stay current with the latest research and clinical practices.
Under the supervision of Dr. Czajkowska, I provide psychotherapy for individuals and couples. I have experience working with a diverse range of difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, anger management, psychotic disorders, distress related to illness, life transitions (parenthood, perinatality, post-partum depression and anxiety, grief, death), and interpersonal difficulties.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to your needs. My practice draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT). Above all, my approach is client-centered and focuses on fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship. You can expect a warm, authentic, supportive and non-judgmental space. My goal is to help you become your own “therapist” by increasing your self-awareness and developing your sense of agency and resilience.
